All Members on urbisunderground have a small icon appearing by their name to say whether they have been 'verified' in real life to be who they say they are:

a young alternative

or

a member of another organisation with a legitimate reason for posting on the webiste.

   means that this person has not been verified

   means that this person has been verified by a website member who knows them in real life

   means that the verification has been approved by an administrator. This is not an absolute guarantee, but it does provide a measure of security.

Once you are a member you can suggest someone you know in real life for verification by clicking on the verify link in their profile.

The will turn into a to say that this member has been suggested for verification.

Once an administrator has confirmed their status the will be changed to a to show that this member has been verified.
