Volunteers

So many young people from the Gardens have offered their time and enthusiasm to support this project without thought of any reward other than to make the Gardens a better place for everyone.

The range of tasks done and support given by volunteers is too wide to list them all, from litter picking to moderating the website, the Agony Aunt and the Legal Advisors, photographers, contributors and those who have brought us their own project ideas and worked hard to make them happen.

Peer Youth Workers

Their hard work, professionalism and dedication go without saying.

What is worth pointing out is the courage they have shown in stepping back from their own peer group and taking the responsibility upon themselves of solving issues and making things better for everyone in the long run.

Young People of the Gardens

In a way, all of the young people who use Cathedral Gardens should be counted as volunteers - they come together to make a safe, inclusive, positive space which is treasured by hundreds.

The Cathedral Gardens Project exists to safeguard and build on this space, but it wasn't made by us, it was made by young people themselves.
