The Big Design Blog

Its been a while since the big design project had a workshop, so i feel like writing up a blog for it 
It was great fun doing TBDP, and as it stands i have over 60 designs in the design folder.  good times!
Its a shame there hasnt been a BDP lately, with a lack of space for the workshops. with urbis closing down, the office being quite full lately, and other UA issues, i've been limited in what i can do.
However the past workshops have been excellent and everyone who turned up did great designs, .
The designs will be on the shop as soon as possible, and they will be given a points price to be ordered. so hopefully we'll see everyone wearing the spiffy new tshirts and what not soon! =D
For me, doing the design project was excellent, as my first project i had alot of fun, improved on my confidence, and got to offer a volunteering opportunity to young alternatives in manchester.
The only problems i feel there were, were things like stationary, something which i repeatedly forgot to sort out, we had things like pencil sharpeners and erasers which were missing and sometimes needed.
There was also the first workshop where in which paint went everywhere and glitter still remained for weeks after that. The first workshop was a learning experience, and i learnt pretty quickly to take out the glitter, and to only give paint to people who could paint 
All round it was a good project, over 60 designs, with tshirts made and printed (heres a pic of two volunteers decked out with a pair of tshirts)
We had a good time doing the project, with lots of pics, so many in fact, there is only one i can think of ending this blog with to show has good it was ...

Lately

Ok so lately things have picked up
ive launched my project
now i just need volunteers 
my post will be floating around somewhere ^-^
im happy to say things are picking up in life too
college is drawing to a close and the holidays are creeping closer
which means my trip to tokyo is drawing ever nearer
s'all good really
i hope to soon have volunteers to help with my project. then we could have official "designers" for the project ^-^
either way itll be mint
Saturday was pretty good. work was abit hectic.
Myself and sarah looked at venues for the coming cosplay project lol

more awesome weekends yet to come

Ok been a while much

So its been a while since i posted one of these things
Works been going really good
ive got the go ahead for my project, im going to look into certain people as volunteers shortly when i get the chance to speak to them
its going to be great
designing tshirts, the water bottles (I HAVE CONTROLL OF THE WATER BOTTLES THIS YEAR )
everything
and the other projects sound awesome ^-^
Things are gonna be good this summer.
i havnt got much to say tbh
college is going well
nearly finished
work is grand
s'all good
more in my next blog me thinks tho

Past two weekends

Ok so the past two weekends have gone awesome
First weekend the Brummy girls came up to manchester!!!
=]
Twas a good day, we worked hard and got some training done
second weekend we went to brummy for more training
abbi was ill (=[) but it was still an allreet day
i over ate of the big wok
and brummy was lovely i want to move
not much in this blog
im tired haha more in the next one =]

PYW Training Weekend

Ok, well this weekend went awesome. The new Manc PYW arrived at the hotel in Preston waiting for the new Birmingham PYW to arrive. When they did, we all sat down and introduced ourselves. It was great, the two Birmingham girls, Abbi and Leanne were lovely, and a great laugh, and i look forward to working with them, and even two new friendships mayby
Me and Brian shared a room. He became Leanne's very own stalker, at first he was subtle, but then he went all out i guess. . We did some exercises which were fun, and were split into pairs which seem to be permanent. Myself and Abbi formed, The Abbi & Nile Appreciation Group. And it was good . When we weren't working, we had a good laugh, sitting in one bedroom all having a good laugh. All in all, this weekend has been ACE, and i look forward to getting to the work with the new PYWs from Manc and Birmingham again

wow, so lots is going on atm
ive still got to work major hard for my place in uni atm
ive also got the amazing new job as peer youth worker for manchester!!!=D
really quite pleasing that is ^-^
ive got my new pc up n running, if a bit slow (needs ram =[) its running fine and im FINALLY back on the site
good to be home :3
everythings going mental atm, but things are looking up too, in fact, really looking up.
im going to write a much more descriptive blog next time. im too tired atm
