I am excited about the new Twilight film as this one is my favourite book out of the 4. However, I don't like the first two films and am really hoping as there is a new director involved in the making in Eclipse that it will be to a better standed. Particularly as in this book there is a huge fight scene that is described with a fair amount of gore and this new director has been described as a 'darker' one so hopefully the film will relate well. Although, since the films have a target audience of younger people i'm not sure how much violence will be included.

Will have to wait and see.

ILU? x3

... eh, out of the two, Harry Potter, hands down. No offence to Twilight fans but it's far too overrated. (Yeah I know HP may be overrated but not to the same extent, in my opinion ^^; )

Neither. Films sometimes ruin books and this is clear in these.
I will still watch them to further induce my pessimism. lol

There are so many rude words and insults I could use to describe both of the series as well as some of the actors they feature... >.>

Neither, frankly - Poorly written books and franchise hounds, one and all. However, Harry Potter is explicitly for children, which excuses it of any wrong doing. Twilight, here comes the pain. Jack Kerouac didn't need all this false hype, he just wrote good books. Alan Ginsberg didn't have Team Howl, Hubert Selby Jr. only needed the one superb film released 25 years after the book was published as opposed to six or seven mediocre ones in rapid susccesion and Michele Ferrari didn't need to labour the point with rubbish characterisations, clichéd plot devices or bullet point lists which, in a supposed novel, is just a flat-out insult to my intelligence. More to the point, all the aforementioned authors preached individuality in one way or another. What's that, Stephanie Meyer? You Need To Be Pretty To Be Popular? Women Should Be Subservient? You Must Ache For A Boyfriend Who Disappears For Ages Yet Forbids You To Visit Mates? Sounds remarkably like another controversial author, ADOLF HITLER, and his controversial bestseller MEIN KAMPF. Congratulations for almost singlehandedly destroying the power of female empowerment within contemporary popular literature and undoing the best part of a century's work by progressive authors, Stephanie, you banal, brainless, mediocre, conformist, opportunistic incubus.
