I moved the Date, Time, and Venue ......because on the first one when they have been filled in they will cover up the trees face.
but I do think the info looks easyer to read on the first one.....lol I dunno whatever you guys want ^_^

That's ace =D I love the trees with faces and the squirrels drinking their tea hehehe it definitely looks like a funky woodland picnic =)
I'll show the guys and gals on Saturday at our next meeting for the poetry picnic project and get everyone to decide together 
Thank you so much for doing them! They're brilliant for a flyer, I can't believe you've not done one before!
We may have to create a back to the flyer, with a map to the venue (once it's confirmed!) and email and website contacts, with a brief outline of the project seeing as it will be the first event. Would we be able to use the same background for the back, if that's ok with you?

Yes please that would be good =) The trees will be ok, i think the reverse can be simpler and still look great.
Also, with the flyer, do you know what the resolution is at the moment for it?
The printers ask for it to be 300 dots per inch...
It looks ace atm though =)
Let me know how much time you've been spending on it so I can add it to your volunteer file!

Ok heres the size and resolution for you.........and the blank flyers, I also did an alternative viersion of the blank as well ^_^

= width 602

Document Size:
= width 5.1cm

Resolution:
= 300 pixels/inch
  
I think I'v spent 5 or 6 hours lol I'm fast at the drawing, its just doing it up on comp im slow at.

Wooo it let me on, they're wicked =)
The printers ask us to change it from RGB colour to CMYK and it didn't change any of the colours which was great =D
With the date, time and venue, once they are confirmed would it be ok for me to ask you to change those and send them to me again? Or would it be easier for you to send me the psd with the layers? Sorry to keep asking you to do so much! If it gets too much, tell me!
Also, Rory (our project co-ordinator - or as we call him 'boss' lol) is as impressed as us by your drawings and this flyer. We're going to be making a booklet for the summer which will include the projects we are doing at the moment; the live music project, the cosplay project, the poetry picnic etc.
He said it would be really good if we could use your flyer background for it and we want to know whether that would be ok with you? If it is, we would be printing on the flyer that you are the artist who designed it (unless you don't want us to) and if you want to sign it to say it's your artwork and send me another one by email then that'd be cool =) We want to make sure that you're credited for it because it's brilliant!

I've tried to edit the layers (for the writing) on the flyer but I've failed. I'm a complete unexperienced n00b when it comes to photoshop.... Still learning

I made the font just yellow.....I put all the logos on ^_^, I hope it was the front of the flyer you wanted the info changed on.

Well iv already spent 5 or 6 hours on Poetry Picnic add an hour and half more
Mankai is about the same amount of time 5 hours
