I think alot of people are missing out on a band called Ladytron... possibly how I feel goth should have gone :(... but it didn't, so there :)

Absolutely immense!!!

But I'm a big 80's fan, Ultravox, The Mobiles, Japan, Alphaville, Visage, Adam and the Ants, Scritti Polliti (before they went rapping, I dunno what happened there!) Simple Minds, A-ha, A Flock of Seagulls, Depeche Mode, Genesis, Eurhythmics and this really cooky band called Boytronic!

Though more recently I've been finding those good ole gothic roots with things like Bauhaus, Sisters, Siouxsie as well as Combichrist, VNV, NIN and this really good band called Mind.In.A.Box... though I wouldn't advise watching the videos on youtube if you don't like entrails!!

I have quite a varied music taste to be honest, I can sit and listen to most things!!

I've seen slipknot live and they were AWESOME!! they were playing with children of bodem and maching head - best gig ever!!

Also seen HIM live but that was back in 2004 ish, and i was alittle disappointed buy it...it was when he was going through his..not-care-about-thepfans-coz-im-too-out-of -it stage lol! He's a lot better live now a days =)

All american rejects <3 just been listening to them hope it gives you hell is soooooo catchy!!!

if people like female fronted metal bands (i.e. Nightwish, Lacuna coil etc) then check out a band from london call PYTHIA. i found them on myspace and was instantly hooked with there catchy lyrics and awesome riffs. They have released there debut album called BENEATH THE VEILED EMBRACE in oct last year and it is a great album, i managed to see them at last years Bloodstock festival and then at the music box a month later, and both times they were brilliant, also got to meet them at boodstock and they are a great bunch of people to talk to, and the lead singer, Emily alice Ovenden, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and is also very talented with an amazing voice, not only is she in Pythia, she is also part of classical group Medieval Baebes, and has also written a book called the Ice Room (more on that when i get to read it). you should definitely check them out on myspace as you will love them.

I'm into anything metal really.
metalcore, deathcore, whatever ;D
my favourite two bands are Parkway drive and Avenged Sevenfold though. But I know loads of bands that are just beyond awesome or epic.

Type O Negative are one of my favourite goth bands because they don't really take themselves so seriously, with an album called 'Origin of the Faeces' and all that. I'm more of a Doom man, myself - Sunn O))), Bongzilla, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Alabama Thunderpussy, Palace in Thunderland, Acid King, Earth and Om are on my player constantly at the moment. Heavier than a hundred half ton trucks having an orgy.
