	Loss of funding for UrbanAlternatives
	Posted: Peer Youth Worker - Manch @ Thu Mar 31, 2011 14:16 First we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has been involved with UA. We couldn't have done it without you! Unfortunately our funding has been discontinued as a result of govenment cuts to youth organisations. Sadly this affected our previous funders Vinvolved thus affecting UA. We are now unable to take on any new volunteers or provide volunteering opportunities, however the website will still be up and running for as long as possible. Therefore, all of you can keep up to date with our funding process and can continue to use this space as you have donbe so previously. Fear not, we have been, and are continuing to find other types of funding big and small to keep the project going. so dont fret, we've bounced back before! - WATCH THIS SPACE - :)

Plus, there will be a activity stall on urbis which will be run by the volunteers to give out information and leaflets. There will also be the oppertunity to dress up as a Giant Cigerette!!!. 	Recruiting Peer Youth Workers now!

They are much more than just the 'bridge' between the project and young people - it is our Peer Youth Workers who run the show and do most of the work.
